PATH OF LIFE
instead of hiding and covering tracks,
I find new vistas and jewels.
instead of guilt, shame and fear,
There is joy, discovery and peace!
Instead of darkness and confusion,
There is direction and comfort.
It may be uphill, but it is into the light,
Instead of a downward slide into the muck.
Often I feel lonely, though never alone,
Instead of surrounded by loud, busy crowds.
