Earth’s diameter is 7,926.41 mile at Equator. [But, if you measure the earth through the
poles the diameter is a bit shorter - 7,901 miles (12,715.43 km).]
New Jerusalem dimensions
(Rev.21:16) – 1200 stadia cube; 1500
miles cube. (18.75% of diameter)
So, this proves that the New Jerusalem must be located at
either the North Pole, or the South Pole!
Just imagine the centrifugal force creating an orbital wobble due to the
imbalance the NJ is causing if located near the equator. The New Earth would fly off into the New
Heavens like a Frisbee with a golf ball glued to its edge. Ever see a car going down the highway with a
tire bouncing from imbalance? Now
multiply this by an astronomical factor!
Either that, or the Apocalypse of John is not to be taken
“literally” but rather a true
“allegory” or epic parable?!
So, will there be penguins in Heaven? Just wondering. I have been sitting through a Bible class for
the last several months with our preacher literalizing and chronologicalizing
every detail and word. Tonight I had my
patience tested. I was hearing “plenty
of room for everybody” and “walls that nobody can crawl over” and “gates that
are guarded, anyways, by angels” …
really, what’s the deal? An old
mechanic two rows behind me was getting the same vibes! I think I will re-read “The Shack”?! So,
is God “Aunt Jemima", "Dinty Moore", or a Rainbow Sprite?
